Spain defeated Germany (1-0) and qualified in the World Cup final

Spain - Germany in the second semifinal of World Cup

Spain qualified for the World Cup final, after defeating Wednesday evening, 1-0 , the German squad in a match played in Durban in the semifinals of the competition. The only goal of the match was scored by Spanish defender Carles Puyol in minute 73.

Match for third place World Cup, between Uruguay and Germany will be held on Saturday from 21.30 pm at Port Elizabeth.
World Cup final, the Netherlands and Spain will be held on Sunday at 21.30 pm in Johannesburg, Soccer City stadium.
